One Man's Island at the 2003 Calgary International Film Festival
Our thanks to everyone who helped make our screening at the 2003 Calgary International Film Festival a great success. Not only did we catch the attention of the local press, but we captured the imagination of the local audience. 350 people packed into our opening night screening, a further 150 people were turned away and as a result the film was held over for a second night.
Director Peter Riddihough & subject Mark Gardiner as well as the whole race crew were on hand. The evening finished with a swanky afterparty at Divino's hosted by Calgary's Avenue Magazine.
Thanks to Avenue Magazine, The Calgary Herald, The Calgary Sun, CBC Radio Calgary, StarTV and CFCN CTV News, the Calgary International Film Festival and, most importantly, everyone who came to see the film.
